On the morning of July 23, the Daliangzi Tunnel of the Chengdu-Guizhou Railway Standardization Model Demonstration Project began construction of the second lining and pouring, indicating that the construction of the project has made some progress.

The new railway from Chengdu to Guiyang, from Leshan to Guiyang, stretches west to Leshan City, Sichuan Province, and has a total length of 515.02 kilometers from Leshan (including) to Guiyang East (excluding). The Chengdu-Guizhou Railway Daliangzi Tunnel has a total length of 1153m and is located in Dafang County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province. It is a double-track tunnel. The full tunnel is located on a right-hand curve with a radius of 9000m. The tunnel is a 7.5-degree single-sided slope. The Railroad Formwork entrance door of the adopts a double-eared wall-type Myeong-dong door and the exit uses a column-type door. The whole tunnel Myeongdong section is constructed by the open excavation method, the dark tunnel section is excavated by the drilling and blasting method, and the shotcrete Railway Tunnel Lining Formwork is used to support the tunnel. The difficulty in the construction of the tunnel is that due to the influence of dissolved rocks and structures, the karst development in this section has the risk of water inrush and mud in Railway Tunnel Trolley construction.
